never noticed before

i was just watching the first episode (first time in ages), and i wanted to know if anyone else noticed this. the very first dialog in the series involves jerry telling george that the buttons on his shirt make or break a shirt. incidentally, this is the last thing said in the final episode, as the camera is pulling back. jerry says something to the effect of "the second button makes or breaks the shirt. have we had this conversation before? i think we have..." don't know if this is treading old ground. if it is, oh well...

Well dglee, you've discovered the closure of the Seinfeld series. The writers ( Jerry in particular) did that on purpose to close out the series just as it opened- "talking about nothing"!
