i find it hard to take these new episodes. yes, they may be funny and people still watch. yet, they are nothing compared to the classcis of the past. the flight of Larry David can truly be seen. the new "writers" seem to take the 'real life situations' and stretch them too far. i mean, come on, a candy bar! i could not find it funny how Kramer and the salesman tried to stretch out the gas mileage. anyone out there support my view?

Aw, get over it already. Not just you personally, but all of you whiners who pine for the 'good old days'. I would say "'it's getting old", but it was old a year ago. Now it's just annoying.
Howbout this. Someone post an empty note with the title:
I prefer the 'good old days', then let everyone who agrees
post their "Me too!"s and then we can be done with it already.

Larry David only wrote about 80 episodes. The other writers are the ones writing the show now. There are no NEW writers

I totally agree. I was disappointed when I heard Seinfeld was going to end but on the other hand, it might be for the best. I'd rather remember Seinfeld as being the best show that ever existed than as the show that started off great but went totally downhill after a few years. Last night's episode was dumb. Doesn't anyone realize that Larry David didnt write every single classic Seinfeld episode? The Airport wasn't written by Larry David. The Outing wasn't written by Larry David. The Marine Biologist wasn't written by Larry David. Sure Larry David wrote some of the best Seinfelds, but he isn't the reason behind every classic Seinfeld.
Many of the writers who wrote those episodes are now gone. It wasn't just Larry David that had an effect on the show - there were also some other great writers that obviously aren't any part of the show anymore.
