Frogger: The REAL Inconsistancy

I noticed a few other posts on here relating to the Frogger episode and theorizing that the game had a "hard drive", etc.

Hard drives aren't used in arcade machines. Battery-backed RAM is often used because it is much cheaper and more reliable. However Frogger had no such backup--the scores die when you pull the plug.

The REAL inconsistancy in this episode is that Frogger doesn't take initials! When you get the high score it is placed next to a "1st". Second place is "2nd", etc. I noticed this because it is something that has always bothered me when I play Frogger.

WHO CARES!!! It was a very funny epsiode, the only reason that they used frogger was to have a sceme woth George crossing the street. It is a TV show for God's sake.

Yes, it's a TV show, but apparently it matters to some people, else why would so many people post their comments here.

To answer your question, at least in part, I care. I love to read when someone posts an inconsistency. Sometimes it make me think "yeah, I noticed that too", other times "darn I wish I'd noticed that".

No, Mike is not an idiot. Where do you think this posting and nitpicking is going on? A Howard Stern Newsgroup? No, a Seinfeld newsgroup. By definition, the people here are mildly obsessed with Seinfeld. Therefore, they analyze and scrutinize the episodes very carefully. Perhaps you should read the faq and get to know the social "rules" of this newsgroup before you post an insulting message about someone. Each newsgroup is its own society and anyone who goes against that society's "rules" is destined to be ignored at best, at worst expunged. I'm going to ignore you for now.
