Neil Armstrong sealed the first moonwalk in human history with the immortal words "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". There is however a fascinating storey behind the words Armstrong was heard to utter just a few moments later, "Good lukc Mr Gorsky".
At the time of Armstrong saying that Technicians at NASA thought he may have been referring to a rival cosmonaut in the Russian space programme however a search of the personnel records of the Russians failed to yield anyone named Gorsky.
Upon his return to earth, journalists asked Armstrong about the reference to Mr Gorsky. Armstrong declined to yield further information. For a time afterwards journalists would raise the issue with Armstrong who continued his silence regarding the elusive Mr Gorsky.
As the years went by people forgot the matter until the early 1980's when a young journalist was interviewing Armstrong for a radio programme. He dredged up the Gorsky comment. Armstrong was at first reluctant to talk about it however, when pressed by the journalist, he relented on the basis that Gorsky was now probably long dead.
As a young lad Armstrong lived mext door to Mr and Mrs Gorsky. One hot summers afternoon Armstrong and a friend were playing ball in his front garden. The ball somehow strayed in the neighbours front garden so Armstrong went to retrieve it. It had come to rest outside the bedroom window on the Gorsky's. Due to the heat of the day the window was open.
As Armstrong was fetching his ball he heard Mrs Gorsky shouting at her husband:
"Oral sex, you want oral sex? You'll get oral sex when the kid nextdoor walks on the moon".
