My other half and I are going to NYC (from the UK) for a short visit next month and was wondering whether it's worth taking the Kramer tour. Has anyone here been on it? As I'm only over for three days, I don't want to spend 3 hours if it's not good - and at USD 37.50, it's quite expensive.

37.50 is a bargain for ANYTHING in NY, esp a tour... I don't know about taking it but if you want to see the sights just WALK around the upper west side and you'll see the a lot of familiar show landmarks. Right down to the place selling soup with a line of people waiting to get in that wraps around the corner of the block.

Thanks to all for the advice. I suppose, thinking about it, I was a bit of an idiot to say that the price was expensive. Our prices here in London for just about everything are pretty much the same as yours, and there's no way Kenny Kramer's price is too high for what it seems you get. It's not as though I'm exactly doing the trip on the cheap, anyway!
