Jerry didn't want any pizza because Poppie didn't wash his hands, George didn't want any cake because it was poisoned, but why didn't Jerry's girlfriend taste the pie?

She didn't want to taste the pie b/c Jerry had already taken a bit from it, and was preparing to put his fork back into the pie (kind of like double dipping a chip). Some people don't like to share food with other people (i know a few of them) after the other person has taken a bite of the food. If the girlfriend had taken a bite of the pie, then Jerry taken a bite, I can almost guarantee you that the girl would not have taken a second bite.

No, I believe you are mistaken. Poppie was ready serve Jerry his own slice when he was refusing it to even be put on his plate.
If she wasn't willing to take a bite of pie from the same fork, then I'll bet she wasn't going to kiss him in his apartment. Although I can easily imagine one of those classic living room scenes where she would have fled the apartment, and Jerry would have called after her... "What? What?"

I think the theme of the show was to leave you questioning why she wouldn't take the piece and only nod, then give you some examples of a time when that could actually happen, WITHOUT telling you why she wouldn't take the piece. There could be a thousand cases why she wouldn't take it, they presented you with a few of those reasons.
