The Doorman...phew!!!

does anyone else agree with me when i say tonight's episode of syndication, The Doorman, was one of the stinker's of the 6th season that helped to bring that particular season such bad press?? I was very disappointed in the contrived nature of the plot... an element that is ofcourse essential to most Seinfeld plots, but, not as blatantly present as it was in this episode... what's more was that the humor was just not there... thank god for this season and the new life that has been pumped into the show... i just wish someone could clue the execs into the fact that no one wants to relive painful memories of the 6th season!!!!

I agree wholeheartedly with Jamie...The brilliance of Poppie's first appearance was the fact that we've all seen slobs who don't wash their hands and dread being put in a situation where we'd have to touch them...I have yet to meet an adult who has a problem peeing on sofas. "Contrived" is hitting the nail on the head!
