I won't pass up a chance to plug my favorite episode.....The Marine Biologist.

Hey guys, my friend wants me to make her a "Best Of" tape for Seinfeld...I havemost of the episodes o tape...which ones would you guys put on there??

"The Library" "The Pen" "The Hamptons" "The Opposite" "The Limo" "The Bris" "The Hot Tub" "The Soup Nazi" "The Contest" "The Phone Message"

However, I do think that "The Junior Mint" should be in that list. Landmark "mulva" premise, and a hilarious Kramer performance (I think Richards won an Emmy for it).

"The Puerto Rican Day" - simply because if you have it, hold on to it and make as many copies as possible, as not only is it a great episode, but extremely rare also (due to being dropped from syndication).

I can't believe I'm the only one who thought "Yada Yada" was a 5 star episode.

Which one was this? It had the 'Urban Sombrero' and was the season opener for one of the years. It was hilarious. Especially the references the the Star Trek movies. [Remember George and 'KAAAAHHHHHNNNN!!!!'?]

This was one of my all-time favorites.

Anyone mention "The Boyfriend" my favorite episode...and I'm talking about the full hour version, none of this split into two syndicated episodes versions (though your friend will be happy with the episode no matter how you have it to give to them, but it's so much better when you see it in the format it was intended to be in...an hour long format.)

Also, another favorite of mine, "The Hot Tub"...there's just something about the word "Bitch" that made that episode so great...oh, and Jean Paul Jean Paul was a class act himself...

And of course (was this mentioned) The Susie, or at least the classic "George's Answering Phone Message" scene from that episode...

"The Chinese Woman" was on of my favorites. I laughed for weeks on end over the thought of her telling Jerry "this is really getting ridicrous" about the phone line problem. "The Soup Nazi" is a classic and is also the episode that really got me addicted to the show. "The Suit" also is very funny. That is the episode where Banya trade Jerry a suit for a 'meal'.

I have had a similar idea, which would be basically an Intro to Seinfeld tape, which could be shown to someone who had never seen the show as a way to introduce them to what the show was all about. This tape would include the following episodes:

1. The Finale Clip Show (not the finale) 2. The Contest 3. The Soup Nazi 4. The Opposite 5. The Library (not because it's one of my favorites, but an early one should be included, and this is definitely one of the best early eps) 6. The Outing 7. (forget the name) where Jerry gets the offer from NBC and George gets the idea for a show about nothing

possibly some others. These combined offer a great setup as to what the show is all about, and between them they include several key storylines. I thought of this idea because whenever I watch the show with someone who has never seen it, they always show an episode from like Season 8, which while good in their own way, is not the point I would want to introduce someone to Seinfeld, because they are radically different at that point than what the show started out to be.
