First, what was that episode where Elaine in a near shriek says to Jerry, to this effect: "Now make me a drink!" (Or was it: "Shut up and make me a drink!"?) Was that the episode in which the concern was Elaine might be suspected of trying to kill Mr. Pitt? It was hilarious.
And I'm trying to recall what movie or play (obviously a murder mystery) that line would have been "lifted" from. (Maybe several such movies or plays? Not ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, was it?)

You are incorrect. It was not that episode at all, it was the one with the insecure doorman (damn that guy was funny). Elaine and Jerry were worried about what they were gonna do because a couch from the lobby was stolen after Jerry was left in charge after the doorman said he only going to be a few minutes while he went to grab a beer. They were figuring out how not to get blamed...

I think the others are correct: the doorman episode was the one with "the bro" ("I like manssiere!").
Still would like to know what movie(s) Elaine's make-me-a-drink line came from.
