Why no Seinfeld on 10/24

I was just looking in my TV guide and saw that there was no show scheduled for this week (10/24). Frasier is on instead.

Does anyone know why this is? You would think NBC would be saving their Frasier reruns because they can't film for a while (Kelsey G's rehab).

They're not moving Seinfeld to a new night, are they???

I posted this yesterday and the reply is got was that they don't want a new Seinfeld up against the World Series (on FOX), so they are putting Frasier on. Myself, I would just put a rerun of Seinfeld on, but......

This seems kind of silly, doesn't it? After last night's game, it seems pretty clear that the Braves will dispose of the Wanks in four games. That means Thursday will be in the clear!!!!

The New York Yankees are in this World Series. I am sure that all the George Costanzas in the country would rather watch the Yankees in the World Series than another episode of Seinfeld.

Since NBC has sold all the Seinfeld episodes from previous seasons to Sony for syndication purposes, the only Seinfeld episodes that they can rerun are the first 5 from this season and it is too soon to do that.

A good question is why don't they rerun the Highlights of a hundred episode that has never been shown in syndication.

Well NBC did have a fire about two weeks befor those reruns were on, and Conan O' Brian had to do his show outside the studio's one night after the fires, so I'm guessing they were reruns because they couldn't do anymore shows for a week or so to clean up after the fires.. But thats what I'm saying..I didn't get it from anyone..I could be wrong though.

Seinfeld is taped in California at Paramount Studios, I believe.
