USA Today TV critic gave tonight's show 3 1/2 starts (out of 4), and the Boston Globe critic says it's "very good." USA Today also gave details of the plot and subtle things to look for, but I won't include those hear in case people don't want to know them in advance. But apparently there are a lot of little things, as usual, to watch out for and enjoy.

USA Today gives tonight's Puffy Shirt episode 3.5 stars and Boston Globe calls it very good, though viewers split on production quality and whether the ending's physical comedy was too harsh.

While the show had very good elements and one liners, the production values were even worse than those in the premiere. There were atrocious discontinuities in some of the edits. In one particularly glaring example, during a Jerry/Kramer discussion, a cut was made to a shot featuring a non-talking Jerry while his voice was continuing from the previous shot. _Very_ annoying.
Also, the final scene was too forced and in-your-face, and it stretched beyond the customary bounds of believable irony.
Still a very good episode, but one with very frayed edges.
I thought the basic angle of yesterday's episode was great. The puffy shirt was wonderful. But was it really neccesary for George to burn his hands like that at the end? I thought that was rather harsh and cruel. Not very funny. -ELENA M
