What is Susan's occupation in season seven when she is engaged to George? I don't think it was mentioned and she wasn't at NBC because she was fired. Does anyone know?

I still haven't got it. Is the actress who played Susan alive? I remember at the end of an episode her picture was shown and there was something about "in memory of ...".
