Jerry Shaving his Chest

Did Jerry really shave his cest in real life for this episode??? in "The Summer Of George" when Jerry has on the towel, It looked like jerry really shaved his chest!

Maybe he did and maybe he didn't. I am a few years younger than Jerry, and a male, yet compared to me, Seinfeld's chest looked very hairy and I do not shave my chest. Maybe Seinfeld just doesn't have much chest hair compared to other men you know.

Yes, but the episode on which he shaved his chest hair originally, he had really thick curly chest hair... and quite a bit. Is there a chance that the hairy Jerry wasn't real. Maybe they added chest hair, and he is actually bare chested. Somebody on this newsgroup has to know whethere Jerry S. has chest hair or not.

Jerry did shave his chest because we have seen his hairy chest in previous episodes: In "The Face Painter", Jerry is forced, at the end of the episode to write a letter of the team on his naked chest to assist at the match and we can see that he his hairy.

In "The Pick", Jerry remove his sweater to show Elaine that everybody has nipples because she is anxious about her "revealing" Christmas Card and we see again that his chest is hairy.

In episode 50 (The Airport), Elaine (in the coach section of the plane) is told that the only meal left is a kosher meal. She asks what that means. A discussion ensues around her about whether or not the meal may or may not include pork, based on how it's killed.

Even if she's not practicing her faith, not knowing what a kosher meal is (and not knowing what a moyle (sp?) is) indicate that Elaine is not of the Jewish faith.

I've always though -- okay, actually I very rarely give it much thought -- but when it does cross my mind, as some of the strangest things do, I just assumed that her mother was Jewish and her father was Catholic, giving her both the Catholic aspects and Jewish American Proncess legitimacy.

a sauna, Jerry's chest was very hairy. Maybe he decided to shave it for the summer? lol

He was talking about the next episode when he was in towels at the waitress's apartment.
