Germaphobe

We have all seen the episode where Elaine's co-worker thinks Elaine has germs and refuses to use the toilet without putting down one of those toilet sheets. Later in this episode, we learn that David Putty is a recovering germaphobe as well. I am really supprised they didn't mention Jerry and his germaphobia in this episode. After all, didn't he throw away a good belt just because it touched the side of a urinal in the mens room? And what about the time he threw away everything in his apartment because his girlfriend put something in the toilet and she wouldn't tell him what it was.

I think it was a shoelace (not a belt).

yes, jerry's always had tendencies, but they were just tendencies... perhaps with this information, and the fact he wouldn't kiss his girlfriend after the toothbrush incident - it has NOW escalated to full blown dementia!
