Jerry mentioned in a recent syndicated rerun episode that he had never held a job (other than stand up). But wasn't there an episode where Jerry met up with a guy who used to work with him selling umbrellas? Are there any other mentions of Jerry's having a job before he was a comic? Where was Elaine employeed during the first season when she had a roommate?
