jerry's acting sucks

i may have noticed that in early episodes when the scene is supposed to be funny jerry just can't get that smile off his face ("these pretzels..." , coma etc.) he might b a good comedian but he is definitely not an actor however JA and MR's acting is great. only good actors like them can say stupid things and still look serious. remember the scene when kramer was trying to prove jerry that u can't brush b4 dentist and u have to eat b4 surgery. he looked like he knew what he was saying.

At the Emmy's this past spring (or late winner) when Seinfeld won, Jerome told the audience that he is the worst actor ever to receive an Emmy (or something like that). i don't think he's acted in anything besides Seinfeld and the american xpress ads. louis-dreyfus, alexander, and richards were all in movies before Seinfeld.

He has his moments. Personally, I love the American Express ads. In particular, the one where he falls off the cruise ship. The hotel clerk offers him a room with an ocean view, and Jerry says, "I don't think so!" I laugh ever time I see it. Heck, I'm laffin' just *thinkin'* about it!!!

Actually, Seinfeld played a short-lived character on the TV series "Benson" in the early '80's. I heard he was only in six episodes (although I'm not sure) and he played a delivery boy.
