Seinfeld 2: Middle Age :Coming in 2000

It's true. The word is that Seinfeld wanted a year off and was intent on preserving his star power so he decided to end the show and revive it a year later. The official title on the first three scripts is Seinfeld 2: Middle Age. It will follow the fearsome foursome as they reach their middle years and become whining losers going through mid-life crisis.

I doubt it'll ever happen. The NY4 are all so fabulously wealthy, why wouldn't they just relax and enjoy all the best in life instead of slogging through 40+ weeks/year working. Chances are nothing would top the mystique and hysteria of Seinfeld so why not go out "on top" and just leave it at that.

I can see some of them doing the typical Hollywood success story things like starting production companies and being figureheads, but working for as living? I don't think so.
