And they followed this with an equally funny moment. One of the women in the crowd at the window watching the marathon runners, exuberantly shouts out, "You're all winners!"--at which George turns to Jerry and makes some comment to the effect that he has just been dethroned. I wish I could remember his exact words.

Another classic moment:

George complains to Elaine that he did not receive a Christmas card from her (of course, it's the Christmas card with the nip on the front). Elaine's response is pure genius. "You want a Christmas card?! You want a Christmas card?! Here! Here's your Christmas card!" The ensuing noogie leaves me on the floor every time.

Also, Elaine's departure: "Well, I've got to get home. My mother just bought me some new panties and they're all laid out for me."

How about in the episode where Kramer and Newman play the game 'Risk': Elaine asks (pointing to the board) "what's this?" and Jerry replies "It's a game of world domination being played by two guys that can barely run their own lives." It cracks me up!! just typing it.

Also, the scene in "The Ticket" when George and Jerry are in Monk's after George walks out of NBC because he did not want to compromise his "artistic integrity". Jerry goes on to say "You know you need help. You need to go somewhere Freud studied like Vienna. You need a team of psychologists studying you around the clock. Observing you. Oh no not a once a week $80 job" This is my ultimate favorite scene from Seinfeld.

Two recent (syndicated) episodes provide me with two of my favorite quotes:

• George: "It figures. I drive them to lesbianism, he brings them back."

2) Jerry (to Newman): "My skin is crawling just being in your little rat's nest."

When Elaine has to call the Drakette to ask for the TV back, she says something really funny that I can't recall at this moment, and then Jerry says, "Yeah, thats your thing." (You had to be there) What Jerry said is not funny standing by itslef....oh nevermind
