I notice the reruns have 30 seconds to 1 minute missing from them. Someone recently told me that in syndication, the new station makes their money off the revenue from the add'l advertising time generated from this spot then can cram a commercial or 2 into. Is this true?

they did it to the betrayal, once the second broadcast on NBC there was a scene where Elaine asked Jerry what time is was and he replied you asked me that two mintues ago! than they pan out to the plane. The famous music plays, and it says two mintues earlier, and we hear elaine ask for the time again. k-dog
