The problem is that in the past, EVERY episode was top quality. Now we're to the point of having to PRAY that just *one* episode is top quality. That is not good.

Fans disappointed that show quality has declined; now hoping for just one good episode instead of consistently excellent ones like earlier seasons.

Truthfully, I guess it isn't a good thing. I think EVERY episode is a bit extreme--there were clunkers even in the beginning--but I see your point. I think that Jerry and the writers have to seriously reevaluate what types of episodes they are producing, which are leaning away from what Seinfeld is all about. Being daring and unpredictable can be done without being unrealistic and farfetched. I hope they take EW's advice.
