Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen anyone mention the several call-backs to older episodes in the season finale. The most obvious one was Susan's doctor -- he was the same doctor on the Junior Mint episode -- ironically another "dark" episode dealing with death.
Second was a little more subtle, but I think the music with Jerry on the pier was a slowed down, dramatic version of the Newman and Babs Kramer seduction music a few seasons back. If you have it on tape, take another listen and tell me if I'm crazy.
