what movie were they spoofing in the 10/31 episode? (the fatigues) it was the part when frank is telling kramer about the korean war, explaining why he can't cook anymore. i know it must have been some sort of war movie (apocolypse now perhaps?) but, for the life of me, i can't ffigure out what the hell it was.

I was watching it with a friend of mine, and he said they were spoofing Platoon. I didn't see Platoon, but that's what my friend said.

I think that the spoofed movie was 'Platoon'. The slo-mo of the soldiers falling and the classical music in the background was reminiscent of a number of the fire-fight scenes in the movie (esp. the one of Willem Defoe's demise). What do you think? Doc...
I think Platoon also, and the music was not just similar to Platoon but was the actual music from the end of the picture when they show the result of the last battle.
