Weird 9-26 Seinfeld

This latest episode was a little weird; it seemed quite different from any other episode. It was still funny, but not as funny as Frazier.

Seinfeld has always been a mixture of some of the most realistic stuff on TV and some of the most surrealistic. But some of this latest seemed way out there. They really have changed direction, and although I regret that, I have to remember that Seinfeld had been thinking about quitting last year, then they found some new territory to explore. I guess we're looking at the results. Oh well, it's still better than just about everything else.

Better than Susan at least but I only laughed once - in the bookstore. Jerry better get cracking with his writers.

I agree with you guys, the 9/26 episode was kind of strange.

The funniest part, I really cracked up, was Kramer in the library when he hit Newman in the nose.

What would the title be to that? The Vasectomy???

good... The scene where Jerry is chasing Newman reminded me of something from the slapstick era of comedy. It wasn't funny and went on toooo long. I watched both seinfeld and frasier back to back thanks to vhs technology and agree, frasier was way funnier. I really thought the scene where the magazine ad was hung not jung! Let's be optimistic and hope for better. They all can't be 5 star episodes. [email]

Everyone keeps saying this show was "very different" in the style and shooting techniques, etc, etc.

Maybe I'm dense, but I didn't notice it being different!

Is this something someone can explain? (Why it was different, not why I'm dense.)

I thought Frasier dropped a notch in its second show. But then again it couldn't possibly have been as funny as the opener for two weeks in a row. Seinfeld was better the second week, but still building slowly. It was nice to see Newman. Now how about a little Frank and Estelle.
