Eating on planes after arrival (the airplane show)

By the way, I'm surprised nobody mentioned this before, but it seemed crystal clear to me that the scenes had been re-ordered in the editing room. Maybe to accommodate the midshow break, maybe to put the funniest sequence later in the show, who knows?

The thing is: they didn't start serving the meal until *after* they started shuttling between NY airports -- in other words, after they should have landed! Now, in a flight from St. Louis to NYC, the logical time to serve dinner would be in the 2-hour span between the cities, right?

It certainly didn't wreck my enjoyment of a very funny show, but I did find it distracting for a moment.

I was also mildly bothered by that... but it was a hilarious episode, and I'm happy to report that the world has two new Seinfeld fans because of it: my parents, visiting for Thanksgiving, were cracking up! They had never heard of the show before (eek!). And did I ever feel cosmicly connected with the show when my wife and I took the uncomfortable sofa bed!

It's possible that the flight was rescheduled for La Guardia just after they took off, and then sent back to JFK before they even made it to the NY area.
