I don't remember exactly when Festivus is, but it's probably close to that holiday now, so here's the airing of some grievances:
Michael Richards, you suck, you racist a-hole! Jerry Seinfeld, you suck for defending and supporting Richards, you racist scumbag! Of course money is probably your main objective, trying to avoid having the Richards incident cut into your DVD income. People who still think well of Richards, you suck!
Richards sucks and needed a head slap, but the media and the self-congratulatory among us suck worse for screaming louder about Richards than they did about all those black people killed by Katrina. What really made me mad was how the media went to all lengths not to show the white dead of the tsunami, but showed the dead black people floating around the Ninth Ward.
Right about now. "Festivus, for the rest of us." I believe there's something to do with the sticking of a pole into the ground for the holiday, too. I have a load of grievences, but will table them for now, as this would become a very, very long, convoluted, rambling, disconnected post were I to even begin airing them.
