Jerry and Newman in Soup Nazi

The Soup Nazi eposode just aired here in Australia, and altough i have seen it ten times before, it struck me that at end the when Newman tells Jerry that he is going home to get a big pot, he runs the opposite direction to Jerry. If they live in the same building, why are they running in opposite directions???

Any explanations..

You should have observed this simple thing atleast the second time you saw. Seinfeld show requires real concentration because the plots are often complex. In the soup nazi episode when Newman says he is going to get a pot and running home Jerry thinks that it would be better to grab some soup before Newman gets back to the soup stand. So both of them are not running to their apartments. Newman is running towards apt.. and jerry towards soup stand. Hope that helped, sudheer.

Of course it is "cent" is used as meaning 100, and cents is shorthand as saying there are 100 of some pieces of metal in a single larger piece of currency. So if any piece of currency is broken down into coins, and one of those coins is 1/100th of that currency, then it is a cent.

Now whether two U.S. cents come close to having the buying power of an Australian cent (or a Tibetan yak dung chip, for that matter) is another matter entirely. Thank you SO much, Presidents Bush and Clinton.

No it isn't. As of 7/26/98, the current rate is: .02 Australian Dollar = 0.01232 US Dollar .02 US Dollar (USD) = 0.03247 Australian Dollar (AUD) :)

Good observation... but what I percieved is that Jerry just ran directly to the soup stand, either to confront Elaine, or just to get a moderate portion of the soup. (My guess is that he was pissed off at Elaine, because Newman said "Elaine is causing trouble at the soup stand")
