For anyone who has seen "Mallrats"-- The girl who was writing the book about sex, I forget her name, had a publisher by the name of Pendant. Elaine, in Seinfeld, worked for a company by the same name. Do you think this (the movie) is a reference to the show of just an amazing coincidence? Or is there actually a company with this name, like J. Peterman? I don't know.
Also, while on the subject of Pendant publishing, in the episode "The Library" when Elaine thought she was getting fired, her boss was played by a different person than played Mr. Lippman in "The Opposite" (Elaine becomes George). Just like to point that out. Das ist alles.
