The Seinfeld Scripts Need YOU!!!

Now that every seinfeld episode has been transcribed (or at least started) They need your help!

many scripts are no where near complete, whether it be the fact that there is no scene changes (ie The Soup Nazi) or little to no descriptive elements (ie The Non-Fat Yogurt) or are transcribed from the syndicated version. The Majority have something wrong with them and therefore we at seinology are seeking people that wish to help out.

Obviously one would require non-syndication versions of the episodes.

Those that have already transcribed has done great work in attempting to give us the ground work. but the ability to search for certain lines or events is only as good as completed scripts.

When the Seinfeld series was sold for syndication, certain cuts (i.e. edits) were made to each show -- so some dialogue (a word or sentence here or there), scenes (sometimes entire scenes), actions, etc... were cut out to make more time for COMMERCIALS.

Thus, they are not the same shows that were originally broadcast. This is why (most of) the current transcripts are incomplete and need to be verified against the non-syndicated versions of each episode.
