Elaines baby rumor.....

I heard today that the writers are going to work Julia's baby into the show. And its going to be Jerry's. Has anyone else her similiar rumors?

It's not a last ditch plot for ratings. What are they supposed to do, stop shooting? Do a bunch of shows without Elaine? Of course, they were able to hide Gillian Anderson's pregnancy on the X-Files, so maybe the alein abduction thing might work for Elaine in an X-Files like parody.

Well, they didn't make Elaine pregnant the last time Julia was, so I don't see why they couldn't do that again.

In an article about the comedy awards, it said that there were no plans to write her pregnancy into the show.

Well, they just shipped Elaine off to the Tunisian desert, so she might be absent for the next few episodes. And Julia has been pregnant during a previous season, which they managed to disguise via the magic of counter tops, tables, big coats and lots of closeups. they've already been doing that in the last few episodes. i wouldn't sweat about it.

Well, she was off in Europe while JLD was pregant the last time...

This rumor has been flying for months. If they're going to do it, the episodes would have already been taped. In the last couple of episodes you can already see she's starting to show, so if they're going to say anything about it they better do it quick!

JLD is due in June, and keep in mind that tonight's episode (3/13) was filmed probably in December or earlier...thus, if we are going to have Elaine pregnant, it'll probably happen in the next couple of months (keep in mind that the May finale is probably being filmed now or in the next couple of weeks, long before she is due), and then they will finish it next season with her giving birth probably in November sweeps or something (because, you can make someone look pregnant, even if she isn't)...we'll see, I guess

According to the 3-12-97 Philadelphia Inquirer, her pregnancy is going to be hidden by some "fashionable but camouflaging outfits" that will be seen in tonight's show.
