There's this one mannerism of George's that I find particularly hilarious. He's either getting ready to sit down or in the process of standing up, and he stops midstream as a result of something he sees or something someone says to him. 3 instances come to mind:
1. In "The Wizard", George is about ready to sit down on Jerry's couch when Elaine says, "Where did the Rosses get the idea that you had a place in The Hamptons?" His pause contains both a mixture of concern and fear.
2. George discovers that he will be getting a massage from "Raymond". He hears this just as he's about to take a seat on the couch in the reception area.
3. Not sure of the episode, but it's the one where both Jerry and George refuse a really nice apartment (with fireplace and garden) since each knows the other one wants it and don't want that hanging over their friendship. Friends of theirs move in and have a house-warming party, and George is rising from the couch to be introduced to the attractive neighbor and stops midstream when he notices how attractive she is and how this woman could have been his neighbor.
