No more Seinfeld on BBC2 <sigh>

I was/am mad too, Susie (=little Seinfeldian inside joke:-). I live in Belgium (yes, we get the Beeb too...)so I had to stay up till like 1 AM every day to catch an episode. And you know, they did the same thing with Chicago Hope, which I think is also a superb show. These are suposed to be prime-time shows, but I guess they just can't match shows like Eastenders(!) It's understandable that BBC doesn't give priority to American shows but airing it at midnight and *extremely* irregularly is a bit harsh, no? Grrr...BBC, you are on my list!

Suzanne, I'm in the UK too and if you're into watching Seinfeld at regular and reasonable hours, and have access to it, you *have* to get Paramount. (Not that they are blameless in mucking about Seinfeld fans - but they're a lot (more British schooling :)) better than any of the other channels.)

Well Paramount would be lovely but I don't have Sky/Digital etc etc and it's not going to happen in the very near future, I don't think. Sigh... Thanks for the very nice welcome everyone, BTW! I get a bit nervous about 1st posts to NG's as some can be a bit caustic. Nice to know good grammar can still win friends and influence people (and it's believe, I know, that was a typo!)

That's interesting they replace SEINFELD with THE PHIL SILVERS SHOW. IMHO the two greatest sitcoms of all time.

It was better than that. For a while they ran Seinfeld, Larry Sanders and Duckman back to back. Now that's good viewing.
