So, a question about the 'The Glasses'-episode... George sees a dime on the floor and I read from News Guy Mike's ( Hi Mike !!) site that George placed the dime himself..So when do we learn that George did it ?..Correct me if I'm wrong , but we can't see this in the episode, right ? These sort of things can really haunt you, eh?

I say the idea that George can see the dime runs with his reputation of Geroge being cheap. He may not be able to tell a horse from a human but he sure as hell can see a dime on the floor across the room. Just my opinion. I don't believe in " the plant theory. "

I have to agree with you. That is the way George is. The cheap little sh
I disagree. The reason for George spotting the planted dime was to make Jerry thing his eyesight was still good. Spotting the dime furthered the plot. If his spotting the dime was simply a measure of George's cheapness, the plot would have revolved around that same issue. But it didn't. "The Plant Theory" is the only logical choice. Throw in the fact that it was a dead-on parody of the Great Escape scene as Mike mentioned, and the fact that hiding poor vision was the very reason Donald Pleasance did the same thing in that movie, and you've got a pretty air tight case in favor of The Plant.
