I have a question about last week's rerun. I did not catch this one in the earlier season. But, when George and Elaine are seated on the couch and they are discussing the IQ test. Jerry is standing at the bar and for some reason, he steps over both of them to reach the chair across the room. What's up with this??? I don't know, it seemed really exaggerated.

-- I was _REALLY_ tempted to break out all my old cliche corny lines about people's "first times", (and I'm sure that other poeple will), but instead, I'll just respond to the post. :-) -- I took it as a subtle hint from Jerry about the fact that both of his guests had their feet up on his coffee table! There are often these semi-subtle jokes about how George, Elaine and Kramer (_especially_ Kramer (What's wrong with my boys? -Nothing, but they should stay in their yard!, or comething like that)) mooch off of Jerry so much. He's like that one kid whose house everyone always wants to hang out at. He doesn't mind, 'cause it means he's cool, but it's funny when people stop acting like guests, but still think of themselves that way (Elaine not answering the buzzer). I find it really funny to see all of them delving into the fridge without asking- cause I have friends who are close enough to do that too.

Haha... which reminds me - at the end of the episode you are talking about, Babu says he's going to "exact vengeance" on Jerry... I was sorta curious as to when he's going to show up on Jerry's doorstep again. What a hilarious re-entrance that would be... "You bad man, you very, very BAAAD man!"
-- Don't all flame me at once, now, but I'm pretty sure that this was played out already, too. I believe that it results in Jerry not forwarding Babu's visa re-application, and getting him kicked out of the country. Why did Jerry have Babu's mail? Well, it all started when........... :-)

The one you're talking about and the one I was referring to was shown about a little over a year ago... I don't think it's been re-aired since. Well, to make a long story short, for those who don't know what happened, it's like this - Jerry goes out of town for a while and Elaine picks up his mail. He returns, but she doesn't give him his mail for a couple weeks (she did the same thing when she borrowed Havana from Jerry, which was a rental tape), and they later find out that Babu's visa renewal form was put in his mailbox by mistake and he gets picked up by the immigration dept. George's lawyer-girlfriend (Cheryl Fong) is supposed to help Babu, but as always, George screws it up, and she backs out, and Babu gets shipped back to Pakistan.
