Where's Jerry?

Tom Shales of the Washington Post thinks a Seinfeld without Seinfeld is a good idea:

I like the way Tom Shales thinks...it's a great idea. It's obvious they can't make it on their own. Bring them back immediately before they end up as secondary character's on The Simpsons.

That's a great article and a good idea. I thought I read somewhere that as Jerry owns (or co-owns) the rights to the characters, he wouldn't let anyone do a Seinfeld-related show.

Maybe one of the talented writers who frequent this newsgroup could come up with a fan/spec script for a show like "Where's Jerry?" Has somebody already?
