  Cuban leaf( hand rolled in Cuba) or leaf from Cuban seed.....there is a huge
difference.
    As i posted before in another thread...I doubt that NBC would want to get
involved in violating a trade embargo......
    Soooo, the most likely senario is that if indeed Kramer smokes "Cubans"
they are are not true Cubans, but a quality smoke made from leaf grown from
Cuban seed( which is legal). Many cigars are made in this way, trying to gain
the popularity that the true Cubans have.
The most popular, at least the bestl known of the Cubans  is the"Cohiba".....

Sorry, but outside of Cohiba, that's the only cigar name I know. I used to keep all my pens and markers in an old Garica Y Vega box, even though I didn't know where it came from since no one in my family smoked cigars...except of course for my babysitter.......but that's another story.

   Cohibas are not neccesarilly the best ( though the best known), its a matter
of personal preference. There are MANY excellent Cigars available legally (and
no, im not preaching, just an observation)
   When people hear "Cuban" they think "the best".  They are as popular as they
are because they are so difficult to get...( unless you know where to look) Its
just like anything else..... prohibition?...if its illegal. it tends to make it
more appealing.   Drop the trade embargo with Cuba and watch what happens....

Let's examine what we do know.

1. First mention of Cubans....Susan Biddle Ross' father gave George a box of Cubans....no brand mentioned

2. Kramer goes to the cuban mission and scores some more Cubans....we can easily assume that Cuban officials have access to the real deal.

since brand names are never mentioned what is the use of speculating...except to show off how much we know about cigars...I know nothing about them ...I do know that the trade embargo looks like a pretty slow-pay way to topple the CASTRO REGIME...THE FUCKER'S GONNA DIE ONE DAY ANYWAY... further IMPOVERISHING the Cuban people seems futile...why not go for a 2 for 1 deal and take out Castro and Saddam in one swell foop"? Slick can be a hero and get all the blow jobs he wants and no one will care.
