Move to Thur. Promo!

     Did anyone happen to catch the "Move to Thur." spot in between
  the 1/27 show?  It was in one of the Commerical breaks......I don't
   want to give it away to anyone who hasn't seen it but it curtailed
    George, Elain, and Kramer all being in the bathroom together.  It was
   perfect because I had just stopped laughing at the show and here I was
   laughing at a small little acting bit during a commerical.  You know a
   show is great when even their "Move" spots are funny!

    Also on 1/27 Entertainment Tonight had a news bit on a softball game of
  the stars.  They started showing all these famous people who were
   playing and they had a close up of Kramer(sorry don't know his real name)
   possibly playing shortstop or some other infield position.  It was great
   because I saw him playing softball on ET and then he comes in on Seinfeld
   like he just came in from the game.  I wonder if the writers came up
    with the idea because he's really into softball?

Is it moving to Thurs after "Cheers?" That's what I thought, but then I saw commercials saying that Cheers would be going on for an hour from now on (or maybe just next week). Did anyone else see this? Am I the only one confused? Should I try to take out as many people with me as possible?

I believe Cheers is going to be on at 7 p.m. (central time) for a half hour and then again at 8 p.m. to lead into Seinfeld at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. This is a one-night only deal.

Seinfeld is moving to Thursday at 9:30, starting Feb. 4. Wings, previously shown at 9:30, is now at 8:30. A Cheers re-run will be shown at 8:00, and a new Cheers will be shown at 9:00.

Mad About You moves to Saturday, at 9:30.

By the way, did anyone catch the promo for the Mad About You time switch?

Paul asks why they are being moved, and Jamie replies because they are getting their butt kicked on Wednesday nights. Honest advertising?

I gather that the double episodes of Cheers will be ending in mid february. (I don't watch Cheers.) I remember because I read that the local Global-TV outlet (CKND) plans to move Mad About You to Thursday's after Seinfeld (where it BELONGS), after the "double episodes of Cheers" end in February.
