They're all probably having a good laugh right now with all of their doorman buddies!

And, "pray tell, what did the doorman say?"
Posters discuss a real New York City doormen strike, drawing parallels to Jerry's comedy routine about doormen from the recent episode.

Chee . . . . Nobody cares to comment?
"You all really think you're better than me, don't you?"

JERRY: You remember a few years ago in New York, we had the doorman strike? They have a union, in the fancy buildings, and they went out on strike. Now you would think, if any group of people would not wanna demonstrate what life would be like without them, it would be doormen. (as belligerent doorman) "Let's see how they do without us!" There's no doorman, people open the door, they walk in, it's... you know. Who's gonna walk out next? The guys who clean your windshield at the traffic light, with the dirty rag? (as window washer) "We demand shorter yellows, and longer reds!"

I just find it ironic that here in NYC we have thousands of people who can't find jobs and we now have all these doormen who have jobs but refuse to do them.
The way I see it, there are thousands of people right now willing to do these jobs, the buildings should start hiring them now before the strike starts.
Didn't Jerry have a bit about how there's always someone willing to do a job?
Something like, "Yes, I will follow the elephants in the parade and clean that up."
