❓ Question

Posters help someone identify an older actor/comedian who resembles a Boston Public teacher, with suggestions including Don Rickles.

this does not really involve seinfeld the show or the person but im trying to remember an actor and i now you watch loads of tv. HEs probably 65+ and really looks like a much smaller version of the old teacher in boston public and i believe hes more of a comedian

but like i said he looks a little like the old teacher in boston public except that hes much thinner and smaller and maybe a cross between the guy in bp and woody allen in looks. and hes bout 70 years old

As bad as that description is, I think I actually know who you're talking about. :-) Unfortunately, I can't recall which shows/films he's been in so I can't look him up on IMDb.

Sounds like the late Phil Leeds, who had recurring roles on Everybody Loves Raymond and Mad About You, in addition to tons of old movies and TV shows, particularly Barney Miller and Night Court. He died in 1998 at 82.
