1. Is the Font they used to create the Seinfeld Logo available for Windows or did they design a unique Font for it.
2. What or who are the "Van Buren Boys". The only thing I know is that they are some kind of a "gang" (whatever that means).

You are correct, The Van Buren Boys were a gang.
In a Seinfeld episode named "The Van Buren Boys". Kramer ran into these guys at a pizza place where there was a confrontation, he accidently 'flashed' the gang's secret sign and they let him go. Later George had a confrontation with this 'gang' and remembered Kramer knew this secret sign, but because Kramer sold the story, that contained the secret sign answer, to Mr.Peterman, so Kramer couldn't tell George what it was. Resulting in this 'gang' chasing George at the end of the episode.
The secret sign was the number 8.
Van Buren was the eighth president.
