Delores.... What part of the female anatomy does this rhyme with ?

Help!!!!

I just saw the repeat of the ep. where Jerry can't remeber his girlfriend's name. We find out that it rhymes with a part of the female anatomy, and her name is revealed at the end of the show as Delores. What the hell does Delores rhyme with, and who's called Delores these days anyway !

Please, please, please help - My friends and I are going crazy

PS - My opinion is that Delores is not meant to rhyme with anything, but is used simply to confuse fools like myself

The problem with this whole premise is that most people mis-pronounce the word clitoris. In actuality, clitoris rhymes with Delores as much as penis rhymes with Dennis. In other words, not at all...

In the local dialect of New York City, Dolores rhymes perfectly with CliTORis. That's how we say it here. Most of us don't have Oxford English Dictionaries, in fact 20% of the people here don't even speak English as their primary language at all.

There are two ways to pronounce the word clitoris, both well documented in most dictionaries. Webster's Ninth Collegiate is one of them.

Your mileage may vary, but depending on you pronounce the word "clitoris" (i.e. where you put the emphasis) you will see what part of the female anatomy rhymes with Delores. (rapidly making a huge comeback in popularity for names of babies)
