Jason Alexander on PBS?

I saw this on my local PBS station, so I don't know if the rest of the country saw it. Jason Alexander was a special guest on a broadcast of the Boston Pops concert. He was singing show tunes. I never knew he was so musically talented. He was belting Gerswhin tunes like there was no tomorrow. Has he done any stage work at all? I knew he was suppose to do "A Funny Thing Happend on the way to the forum", but he withdrew to do the final season of Seinfeld.

Has he done any stage work? He's got a Tony!

Jason has been on and off Broadway for over 15 years. He won a Tony award in 1989 for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as the narrator in "Jerome Robbins' Broadway." He is a phenomenal singer and dancer - he started taking tap lessons when he was 14 - as well as a great actor.

I did see and tape his stint on PBS with the Boston Pops - it originally aired in 1996. It was fabulous. He always did love show tunes.
