what happened in the Jerk Store Episode

Can someone tell me what George's revenge was? How it backfired on him? And what he came up with on the way home just before he did a u turn?

George travelled to the "jerk's" new place of business, on supposed business, and tried the jerkstore line, but when that failed he quipped: "Oh Yeah? Well I just slept with your wife!" The wife hed either slipped into a coma or been killed the day before. I can't quite remember.
