Newsgroup users discuss procedures for reporting spam and sexually explicit posts/emails to moderators, expressing frustration with unwanted adult content.
I've noticed that this ng (as well as my personal e-mail) has been receiving more than a sprinkling of offensive posts for sexually oriented Internet sites.
I don't consider myself prudish, but I resent having this slop pushed in my face or in the faces of some of the younger people on this ng and several others I subscribe to.
What is the procedure for reporting these dirty little people to discourage them from littering my ng with their filth?

I managed the web site of our school district here near Toronto and some porn site in Europe hacked our telnet host and used it to mail out porn advertising - luckily nobody around here admitted to getting it with our address on it. Good question, that stuff gets on my nerves too...I spent two minutes this morning just deleting porn-mail in my mail box (e-mail box)...it gets on your nerves...
