Seinfeld topic on MAY....

Tonight, Ira called Paul a "Pez-head"! Yet another reason why people cant say that Seinfeld and MAY have nothing in common.

Well, that's nothing new...Ira calls Paul a "Pez-Head" all the time. One episode that comes to mind is the one in the Museum of Natural History, where Jamie is convince that she and Paul were "meant to be". Ira calls him a Pez-Head both as a 30-year-old and a 10-year-old.

BTW, what'd the connection to Seinfeld? Does someone on Seinfeld call people Pez-Heads? I've never seen that...

Ira always calls Paul a pez-head! The reason that it was funny to have him call Paul that in the last episode was because it "happened" three years ago (by TV time.) We see that this is more than just a new phrase for Ira, unlike Paul's "never gonna happen, my friend." which only started this season.

Aren't you glan Fran's not pregnant? I would never want to be necessarily associated with Ira like that. He's a decent friend to Paul, but not much of a concientious boyfriend IMHO.

I'm still on the fence as to the need for a MAY newsgroup, but if you build it, Dave, I will come.

"Why couldn't you tell her I was an architect? You know I always wanted to be an architect!"

Actually, it was even funnier than that. He said that he always wanted to PRETEND he was an architect.

In fact, the funniest nuance of the line is that George wanted to pretend to be an architect in the first episode of the show....

Jerry wants to meet a girl, but he only knows the building where she works. George accompanies Jerry on a stake-out to catch her coming out of the elevator, and while they're waiting, they come up with a story. They're there to meet a friend of Jerry's. George wants to say he's an architect, but Jerry won't let him-- "I don't think you can pull it off."

By the way, they said they were meeting their friend, Art Vandelay (a name that comes up from time to time on the show!)

That was the first episode???? I know I've seen that one, but I didn't know it was the first.
