I thought the Putty character was hilarious.
Especially when Elaine asks "Why is your face painted" "you know, to support the team" or when he says, with no facial expression whatsoever, "I'll come back, we'll make out."

I've missed the two episodes of Seinfeld before The Slicer so I'm behind. What happened the relationship between Putty and Elaine? She didn't mention him in the slicer.
Yes, I agree he can be quite funny. I love his crinkly-eyed delivery and the way when Elaine asks him something he says: "Yeah that's right".
