inconsistency...anyone notice?

i was wondering if you noticed this inconsistency, or can explain why i'm wrong in my belief. 2 nights ago was the episode when jerry had the dog from the guy sitting next to him on the airplane(and it had that HILARIOUS kramer moment-'you contribute nothing to society'). Anyway, during the episode george and elaine didn't know what to say to eachother when they were alone, so they talk about how jerry looks weird when he throws up. she also said that she moved there 6 years ago, so i'm assuming she didn't know jerry long b4 that, if at all b4 that. But during the black/white cookie episode jerry mentioned the streak(since 1982 i believe) of not throwing up. so how does elaine know what he looks like when he throws up?
