Life imitates sitcom (yup, Seinfeld)

A friend of mine (short but not fat, with glasses) is having to move back "home" after a big argument at the flat he moved into a month ago (He moved in, yada yada yada, he moved out). He's a *bit* like George, and although the recent development is not a good thing, it did make me think of Seinfeld and laugh...

"...and if everything goes according to plan, I'll be moving back in with my parents!" LOL!

With all these insane people around me, I feel more like Jerry every day(but with lots more real-life stress and without the top-rating TV show, of course). I think this is why we love Seinfeld - because we can relate *so* well to it.

Well, back to the grind...

I actually tried explaining Seinfeld to two non-fans recently. One American was totally intrigued at how the Apology resembled the entire China / Spy plan incident. Then, I tried explaining Seinfeld to a Japanese student of mine. I think I used the example where one of the four (usually Jerry) sees someone that they absolutely hate, "Oh no! I hate that person!" Then, he gives that person a warm welcome and friendly smile when they approach him.

It seems that this kind of human behavior is international.

I have the same thing thing: when i was a kid, i wanted to become an architect, i am being chased by people that want me to pay for 2 tv channels i never watch, i have a friend who always comes in and 'borrows' from my fridge (he doesn't live next door tho), and just generally the most bizarre things happen to me and people around me. eg last week my friend found out he had a credit card, he didn't know that because they didn't tell him at the bank. this could be in seinfeld :) ohyeah, i love it. i see sort of my own life on tv twice a day :)
