Yes, but...the L-tryptophan (when transfered to serotonin in your brain) will make you sleepy, but only when it's consumed by itself. When turkey contains so much protein it should cancel the effect of the tryptophan and the real reason is, after eating a big meal containing turkey and you feel sleepy, you've just ate too much carbs.
