Is there a relationship between the make of Jerry's bike (Klein) and the fact he's Jewish? (Not that there's anything wrong with that!) Wasn't Klein bought up by Trek? Has Jerry ever been on his bike on any episode? Just wondering.....

Klein did bought by somebody. I think a Cannondale was in one show?
At one point they decided to not use the Klein anymore. I believe it was when Cannondale bought all of the cast members bikes. Ironically after only a week or two, the Cannondale hanging up in Jerry's apartment was stolen from the set. They had to go back to the Klein. It's a detail that many fans would miss.

And, corerect me if I'm wrong, but I believe the color of the bike has changed a couple of times. Can anybody verify this?

If it were stolen it could be replaced overnight. It had to be more politics behind it. ie Russel Delrymple's disappearance! For a co like Cannondale could have a dozen standing by.
