Elaine gets bashed because

Elaine is one of the few regular sitcom women who has sex(implied) and/or talks about it and admits it. The other sitcom women who have sex are the girlfriends of male regular charachters or regular women who have sex with a regular male charachter.(Example: Diane Chambers with Sam on Cheers). Someone said Elaine was no Kelly Bundy of Married With Children implying Kelly was a slut. But it was NEVER implied that Kelly had just had sex with someone.But it was implied that Bud the "loser" had just had sex many tmes. Whenever they joked about Kelly being a slut she got angry and denied it. People have problems with Elaine because she is unique for a sitcom. Drama shows have charachters like this but they are different from sitcoms. Yes there are many women characters on shows that talk about having sex, but usually it's for a joke and "hypothetical." It's rarely implied that a women has just had sex like Elaine.
